I'm off to London this week for the UK Youth exhibition at The Mall Galleries. This is one of the five paintings I am exhibiting, assuming the art courier firm has delivered them (I'm a bit nervous about this, never previously having used them!) My paintings are all Perthshire landscapes so it will be interesting to see if anybody likes them in big, bad London. If they don't sell I have to lug them home on the train so I have taken the precaution of painting only little pictures for this show. Apparently there's a train strike on this week as well so it may transpire that I get no further than North Berwick, but if I do, I'll be returning First Class as, inexplicably, it only cost an extra tenner. It's cattle class on the way down though as the inscrutible and capricious ticketing system demanded about a hundred and fifty extra squid for the alternative then. Why? One of the great mysteries of modern life...

Best of luck, Claudia. I am sure they'll love them, and hope the show gets a big audience for all of you.
